Before You Start

Have your Lounge Hub username, password, and portal URL ready. Some Smart TV IPTV player apps are third-party apps and may require their own paid license after a free trial. That app license is separate from your Lounge Hub subscription.

For the best IPTV streaming quality, connect your TV to stable Wi-Fi or ethernet. Use at least 25 Mbps for HD and 50 Mbps or more for 4K streams.

Smart TV IPTV Setup Steps

  1. Open your TV app store, such as LG Content Store, Samsung Apps, VIDAA Store, or your brand's app marketplace.
  2. Search for a compatible IPTV player such as Hot Player, IBO Player, Smart IPTV, or another app recommended by Lounge Hub support.
  3. Install the app, open it, and write down the MAC address, device ID, or activation code shown on screen.
  4. On your phone or computer, open the IPTV player activation or playlist website shown inside the app.
  5. Choose Xtream Codes when available. Enter the portal URL, username, and password from your Lounge Hub activation email.
  6. If the app only accepts M3U, paste the M3U playlist URL from Lounge Hub instead.
  7. Save the playlist, return to your Smart TV, then refresh or restart the IPTV player app.
  8. Wait for live channels, VOD, and EPG guide data to load. The guide can take a few minutes on first launch.

Troubleshooting Smart TV IPTV

No channels load

Check the portal URL, username, and password exactly as sent. Capital letters, extra spaces, and old credentials are common causes.

App is not in the store

Try another compatible IPTV player, change the TV app-store region if appropriate, or use a Fire Stick, Android TV box, Chromecast with Google TV, Apple TV, or Roku device.

Buffering or freezing

Restart the TV and router, move closer to Wi-Fi, use ethernet when possible, and close other apps using bandwidth.
